Stampin' Up Has It Going On!

Earlier this month I went to my bestest crafting buddy's (Donna) Stampin' Up Party!  I love Stampin' Up and the parties are so fun...especially with our fabulous Stampin' Up Demonstrator, Angela Wright!  Check out her website HERE.  And be sure to check out the awesome new catalog on her site!

At the party, we made these 2 adorable cards.

She also showed us how to make this really easy (no adhesive needed) tea bag and cookie holder.  We didn't each make our own, but when I got home, I found some instructions online HERE for the same thing and made one.

Both sides have the same little slot.  I found it fits a gift card perfectly!
So you can put a gift card on one side and then a small note on the other side.

There's also room in the middle if you wanted to add something more.

I think they're adorable!

Time to go get YOUR craft on!

Card with Paper Flower

Today's card is for Bo Bunny's July Card Challenge:  Handmade Flowers.  I love making crumpled, distressed paper flowers!  I got to use my new 6x6 Crate Paper pad called "Random."  It's lovely!

Here's my card:
To make the flower, just punch several different sizes of circles (one of mine was even a scallop circle).  I punched 2 of each sizes.  Then you just crumple them up and distress ink the edges if you like.  Stick a hole through the middle and add whatever embellishment you want...I used a brad, obviously.  That's all there is to it.

You have a few more days to enter the challenge!  Let me know if you do...I'd love to see your handmade flowers!

Paper-Pieced Elephant

Pink by Design - Challenge 10 - Go Wild!  You had to use an animal or animal-print paper.

Here's my card:
I paper-pieced the Elephant stamp which is from TPC Studios, called Circus.  I can't find it anywhere online to show you a picture.  I think I got it at Hobby Lobby a while back.

Okay, there are 2 more challenges, but I think I'm done for the day...maybe the month!  Whew!

Have a great evening!
